Fate's Edge
A consequence-driven fantasy roleplaying game about dangerous choices and the question beneath them: what do we owe each other?
The game
Fate's Edge is set among the ports, courts, old roads, and unsettled borders of the Amaranthine Sea. Players know the risk before they commit. One roll answers whether an attempt succeeds and what it sets loose; a miss changes the situation instead of ending the scene.
Characters carry Bonds, Complications, duties, and followers beside their talents. Different peoples and institutions disagree about what is owed, and play begins when their answers cannot all be honored.
At the table
Dice and cards settle the danger. What you owe one another is harder.
The game supports play around one table, online, or somewhere between. The browser toolkit runs without an account and stores data locally unless the table chooses to connect to a campaign server.
